From the first cold days, we have this little ritual, our madeleine de Proust, that takes us back to our childhood snacks: a hot chocolate, thick and creamy.
To achieve an intense chocolate flavor and especially that smooth, comforting texture, we use a bit of melted dark chocolate and Kaoka cocoa powder.
This vegan hot chocolate recipe is a version for coconut lovers, sweetened with coconut blossom sugar and topped with a delicious coconut milk whipped cream… A truly delicious hot beverage!

Preparation
Open a can of coconut milk. Remove 10 cl of coconut cream (the fatty part on top). Place it in the freezer for 15 minutes while preparing the hot chocolate.
Chop the dark chocolate, then pour it into the glass with the unsweetened cocoa powder and coconut sugar.
In a saucepan, gently heat the coconut milk and soy milk.
Pour a little of the hot plant-based milk mixture over the chocolate. Mix well.
Pour in the rest of the hot milk. Set aside.
Remove the coconut milk from the freezer. Add the sugar, then whip it into whipped cream using an electric mixer.
Add the whipped cream on top of the hot chocolate.
