Easter Egg – Cornflakes & Milk Chocolate

Recipe description

Here’s a recipe that will impress the kids: an extremely indulgent Easter egg! The recipe is inspired by the famous sand roses, with plain cornflakes and milk chocolate, lined in a giant egg-shaped mould for a wow effect.

It’s crispy, a real treat for young and old alike… and we should warn you, once you start, it’s hard to stop!

Ingredients

  • 400g of 40% Ecuador Kaoka milk chocolate
  • 200g unsweetened cornflakes

Tip

Of course, you can make this recipe in another mould if you don’t have a giant egg-shaped one. And for a less sweet version, opt for Kaoka dark chocolate.

Preparation

  1. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie.
  2. In a bowl, mix the melted chocolate with 200g of plain cornflakes.
  3. Line the bottom of the two halves of your egg-shaped mould with this mixture. Leave to cool.
  4. Carefully remove the two halves of your egg from the mould, then seal them together with melted milk chocolate.
  5. Your egg is ready to be hidden!
